About Us

Located in the heart of the timber manufacturing industry in northern New York, Curran Renewable Energy LLC was formed by brothers Patrick, Timothy and Lee Curran. We have over 50 years of experience in the timber business and operate two long-standing businesses: Seaway Timber Harvesting Inc, which annually produces over 300,000 tons of wood chips; and, Curran Logging Inc, which produces and sells soils and gravel in all sizes.

One of the hallmarks of Seaway's business is the use of responsible forestry practices. In particular, when harvesting timber, Seaway works with the landowners to mitigate potential environmental harms and to protect soil and water quality.

Curran Renewable, together with Seaway Timber Harvesting, will generate feedstock necessary to make our wood pellets. The proximity of the feedstock to the wood pellet processing factory and the quantity and quality of feedstock available through collaboration with Seaway Timber Harvesting, are considered to be significant economic advantages enabling Curran Renewable Energy to produce high quality wood pellets delivered to the market in a timely manner at a competitive price.
